1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using SmartBahi, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the application.
2. About the Application
SmartBahi is a digital ledger and khatabook platform developed by Arthonix Technology LLP that enables users to:
- Record credit and debit transactions
- Manage customer accounts
- Maintain business financial records digitally
- Track balances and payment history
3. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate registration information
- Maintain confidentiality of their account
- Use the application lawfully
- Avoid misuse, unauthorized access, or harmful activities
Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of financial records entered into the app.
4. OTP Authentication
The application uses mobile number verification and OTP authentication for secure access.
By using the app, users consent to receiving OTP messages for authentication purposes.
5. Data & Backup
While we strive to maintain reliable services:
- Users are responsible for reviewing and maintaining their records
- We recommend users regularly back up important data
- We are not liable for accidental data loss caused by device failure, third-party issues, or unforeseen technical problems
If you delete your account, your records are deleted with it. Please export a backup first — see Deleting Your Account below.
6. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
- Use the app for illegal or fraudulent purposes
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the application
- Distribute malware or harmful code
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
7. Intellectual Property
All rights related to SmartBahi, including:
- Branding
- Logo
- Design
- Features
- Software
are owned by Arthonix Technology LLP and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- SmartBahi is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from app usage
9. Account Suspension or Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in suspicious or illegal activity
- Misuse the platform
10. Deleting Your Account
You may delete your SmartBahi account at any time, for any reason. You can request deletion in either of two ways:
- In the app: Settings → Delete Account → Request Account Deletion
- On the web: smartbahi.com/account-deletion — available even if you have uninstalled the app
We action deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them and confirm by email.
When your request is processed, your account and your data — your profile, customers, suppliers, transactions, credit/debit entries, payment history, bills and products — are removed from SmartBahi straight away, and you will no longer be able to sign in. We retain one backup copy for 30 days solely so that a deletion made in error can be reversed at your request; after 30 days it is permanently and automatically erased. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Deleting your account ends your access to SmartBahi, including any active subscription. If you have a recurring or auto-renewing subscription, please cancel it before requesting deletion, or contact us at Info@arthonix.com so we can assist. Any questions about billing or refunds should be raised with us before you delete, since we cannot access your records once they are erased.
Back up first. Deletion cannot be undone once the 30-day window has passed. Use Settings → Backup & Restore to export your records before requesting deletion.
